The Berea Browns Backers are the 400th Browns Backers Worldwide Charter. We were established in 2006 and have continually grown, starting with only 16 members.

Our mission is to continually push the boundaries of what a Browns Backers club is, in an inviting, family friendly environment. We have enlisted some of the most respected area establishments to partner with and present our members with added benefits of being in the club.

We originally started in Lakewood as The Bunch Browns Backers in 2006 and moved to Berea after joining forces with The Homeland Browns Backers in 2007.  We spent the 2008 season as The Homeland Bunch Browns Backers and in June of 2009 our members selected Berea Browns Backers in a club-wide vote for our permanent name.  We intend to continually grow the club, season over season, and host the best Browns related events and activities of any Browns Backer club in the Greater Cleveland area.

Our home bar and meeting place is at Scoundrel's Bar & Grill at 826 Front Street in Berea, Ohio; a stone's throw away from the Browns Training Facility.

We have recently dedicated all of our charitable efforts to the Berea Children's Home & Family Services and have contributed over $7000 to them since our inception.

We have been the Browns Backers Worldwide club of the month in each year of our existence:

October, 2006.

September, 2007.

December, 2008.

And we have been nominated for Club of the Year in all three years of our existence as well.  The latest can be seen here, sent out to Club Presidents prior to voting.  There was a tie for club of the year in 2008, which made us officially the runner up, otherwise known as the Bronze Medal winner.  :) 

We have raised over $1000 for other area charities such as: Toys For Tots, United Way and Goodwill.

We annually host our Kickoff Party to officially celebrate the start of the upcoming season. In years past we have welcomed guests such as: Bob Golic, Daven Holly, Herman Fontenot, Eric Steinbach, Kamerion Wimbley, Beau Bell, Jason Wright, The Bone Lady, Big Dawg, Q104's Allan Fee and many others.

Our goal is to provide our members a fun and active club throughout the year that is committed to giving back to our community. And, finally bringing home that Club of the Year honor would be good too.
